on the afternoon of april 9th, the seminar on indonesia nickel-related industry investment & industrial park cooperation was held at the headquarters of china development bank (cdb). tsingshan, along with huayou cobalt, zhenshi, gem, brunp recycling and catl, was invited to attend the seminar. the seminar was hosted by liu hao. the head of asia-pacific business department of cdb international cooperation bureau. xiang guangda, the chairman of tsingshan’s board of directors, and huang weifeng, the president of shanghai decent investment (group) limited company, and the others have been invited to attend.
the seminar aimed to discuss the developing prospect of indonesian ferronickel and battery material industry focusing the investment situation of the relevant enterprises in indonesia’s nickel industry, and the further study of the support measures for financing. byaking the development of imip and the enterprises in the industrial park as the paradigms, the attendees have discussed about the multiple methods that we have cooperated the enterprises in the industrial park by entering the global market, so that we could provide practical work suggestions for the government departments and the financial institutions. in addition to the strong lineup of the cdb’s internal departments，including the international cooperation bureau, the international finance bureau, the review management bureau, the 2nd review management bureau, the risk management bureau, the indonesia representative office, the xiamen branch, and the zhejiang branch, the relevant heads of department of asian affairs of the ministry of commerce and the foreign investment department of national development and reform commission also attended.
at the seminar, the chairman, xiang guangda briefly introduced tsingshan’s periodic development and its corporate culture, “dedication, openness and innovation”. he also shared his thinkings and experiences on the issues raised by the relevant cdb departments in terms of the industry, the market, the park mode, the competition, the cooperation and indonesia’s environmental policy, and expounded his envisage on future development.
subsequently, the other corporations leaders who attended the seminar also respectively introduced the situations of their corporations, their considerations for the investments in indonesia and the cooperation projects with tsingshan. the department of asian affairs of the ministry of commerce and the foreign investment department of national development and reform commission also -introduced the economic and trading cooperation between china and indonesia as well as the orientation of overseas industrial investment policy after listening to the introductions and q&a discussions of the corporations.
the overseas industrial park development mode with “industrial agglomeration” and “enterprise clusterization” formed by tsingshan has greatly enhanced the collaboration which aimed to entering the global market, and assisted with exploring and practicing service innovation under the current financial institutions. cdb has actively explored the innovative financial service based on above-mentioned “industrial agglomeration” and “enterprise clusterization”with the overseas industrial park as the platform as well as the needs of enterprises in the park as the guidance, thus enhancing the confidence and motivation of the enterprises in their overseas developments. the seminar came to a successful ending in a productive interaction between the banks and the enterprises.
